Integrating Human and Planetary Health

Centre for Integrative Medicine and Planetary Health

Welcome to our website

Health is more than the absence of illness – it emerges through the combination of biological, psychological, social and ecological factors. At the Centre for Integrative Medicine and Planetary Health we conduct rigorous scientific research on traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine (TCIM) approaches that recognize human health and their environment as interdependent systems rather than isolated domains.

We are an academic think tank operating at the intersection of medicine, public health, and sustainability, with a strong commitment to developing evidence-based, tailored solutions to the complex challenges of human and environmental health prevention. Our interprofessional team of physicians, psychologists, nutrition and health scientists, and nursing professionals conducts clinical studies, produces systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and contributes to health technology assessments as well as medical S3 clinical practice guidelines. Together with partners from healthcare, industry, and health insurances, we realize health services research and implement transformation projects to enable the sustainable adoption of innovative prevention and care models in real-world settings.

Whether you are interested in our research projects, clinical studies, doctoral dissertations, or medical education and training courses, we invite you to explore our website, follow us on LinkedIn, and get in touch via the contact button. We welcome scientific exchange and are open to collaboration.

Sincerely,

Prof. Gustav Dobos, MD
